Tree project structure is visual breakdown of a project by its client jobs, and expert jobs. To open tree view of a project, select this project in the list on the Main tab of Project window and click Tree tab.

Tree tab consists of the following parts: Tree Scheme of the current project (in the left part of the tab) represents the structure of the project and jobs data, which is displayed to the right.

 

Tree scheme

Project in Projetex 7.0 can contain three types of jobs:

client Client jobs — jobs which your company has to do for the client. This is the job which has been quoted to client and which the client has purchased. These jobs will be included into your invoices to client. See Creating Client Jobs for more information.
corporate Corporate jobs jobs being done by corporate (in-house) experts, employed by your agency. See Creating Corporate Jobs topic for more information.
freelance Freelance jobs jobs, subcontracted to freelance experts (or any other vendors). These jobs will be included into your purchase orders to freelancers.

Corporate and Freelance jobs icons with question marks (unassigned_jobs_icons) indicate that no expert has yet been assigned to these jobs. See Creating Freelance Jobs topic for more information.

Project is broken down by client jobs, which in their turn can be split into a number of  corporate and freelance jobs. All these jobs can be created, edited and deleted in one window, using Client Jobs and Expert Jobs tabs to the right of Tree view field.

Click any of the jobs in the project tree to highlight its data in the tables to the right.

Double-click a job in the tree view or in the table to edit it.
