Workstation menu is used for basic working session operations:
| • | Log In option is available in offline mode and can be used to connect to Server without the need to re-run Projetex 7.0 Workstation. |
| • | Log Out option is available in online mode and can be used to terminate connection to the server (for example when you need to log in under different user account). |
| • | Server command opens Network Location of Projetex 7.0Server where you can select a computer with Projetex 7.0 Server installed to connect to. |
| • | Logged Users command can be used to view other workstations currently connected to Projetex 7.0 Server |
| • | Exit command ends your work session with Projetex 7.0 Workstation. |
Note: Server command is available only when you are logged out (i.e. Log In and Server commands are both dimmed when Log Out command is available and vice versa).
Navigation menu can be used to quickly access any window or tab of Projetex. Navigation menu structure is identical to that of Navigation panel
Client, Project, Corporate Expert and Freelancer commands include a submenu to the right, which gives access to the tabs of the correspondent window.
Navigation menu can also be used to change the style of navigation panel. Classic command will change the navigation bar to the one used in 2006 version.
New... menu can be used to quickly create new client and contact records in Projetex 7.0 database. This menu has the following items:
| • | Client — this option can be used to quickly add a new client record to database. |
| • | Contact — this option can be used to quickly add a new contact of a client. |
| • | Account — this option can be used to quickly create a new client account. |
| • | Service — this option can be used to quickly add a new service to database, and assign general prices for this service. |
| • | Quote — this option can be used to quickly issue a new quote to selected client. |
| • | Invoice — this option can be used to quickly issue a new invoice selected client. |
| • | PO — this option can be used to quickly issue a new PO to selected freelancer. |
Custom Reports menu has single List command. Click on it to open the Projetex 7.0 Reports-View window containing the list of reports you can generate. See Workstation User Reports topic for details.
Settings menu provides access to your Workstation user options and configuration.
Help menu contains links to this Projetex help file, support and contacts, registration options, including:
| • | Projetex Help command opens this Projetex 7.0 Help System. |
| • | System and Locale Info displays System Information window with your system and locale information, which could be useful in case of writing to customer support. |
| • | Register command (which changes to upgrade after you register the program) shows registration dialog, where you can enter your Projetex 7.0 license key when registering or upgrading the program.
