How do I establish remote access to Projetex Server and Database? Example: One of the project managers works remotely (from home). He/She can work with Projetex Server (and Database) installed in office using Projetex Workstation installed at home. How to establish the remote connection: 1. Install Projetex Server in office. 2. Install Projetex Workstation at home. 3. After installation of Projetex Server in office you need to find out its IP address. You can do this using http://www.showmyip.com website. Just visit it from PC with Projetex Server and website will show you your IP address. 4. Launch Projetex Workstation installed at home. 5. When window with login / password appears click Other PC button. 6. Enter IP address. 7. Press Test Connection button. 8. If you will see Connection Successful message you can work with remote server.

How do I enter/change name of the Server in Projetex Workstation? Please make following steps to enter name of your Server into Projetex Workstation.
You can quickly search for any item from Clients, Projects, Corporate Team or Freelancers lists by typing 2–3 letters from the name of required record in quick search field. This feature is available on the Main tabs in all the sections of Navigation panel, for example in Client > Main tab. Quick search has two modes: Starts with and Contains. Select Starts with and type the first letters of the client name and all records starting with string entered will be displayed in the top of the list. Select Contains and type the part of the required client name and all records containing the entered string will be displayed in the top of the list.
To search for freelancers by language please use SEARCH button on Project > Freelance team tab. You can search list of translators with prices (you can set zero price) or which have completed jobs.
Another powerful search instrument in Projetex is Local Custom Filter. You can filter records by any property (including custom properties) and any number of properties. Local Custom Filter is available from the bottom panel of Projetex interface when Main tab of the Client, Project, Corporate Expert or Freelancer tab is open.
